Description

House. Mid and late C17, mid C18. Cement rendered red brick. Slate roof. single ridge and right gable rendered stacks. Set on a plinth, the left 2 bays being rubble. 2 storeys, 4 bays. The left 2 bays being mid C17 and the right 2 bays C18. Doorway with glazing bar door and overlight. To the right is a doorway with glazing bar double door and to the left 2 glazing bar sashes. Above are 2 similar sashes with a single similar smaller sash to the right, and on the far right a single similar sash. All sashes in moulded frames. To the rear left is a single storey plus attic, 2 bay late C17 painted red brick and plain tile wing. The early C17 bays have chamfered beams with bar stops. There is a bressumer fireplace with small salt cupboard. The late C17 wing also with chamfered beams and some broach stops. (NCC/js)
