Description

House, 1649, formerly pair of cottages; brick with steep pitched pantile roof, brick plinth, moulded brick first floor band and details, coped gables with stone ball finials, 2 ridge stacks, 2 storeys plus garrets, 3 windows. Central 3 light leaded casement with wooden lintel and triangular moulded brick pediment containing date plaque, 1649; flanked to east by C20 door with timber lintel; beyond, C19 2 light Yorkshire sash with segmental head; beyond again, blocked 4 centred arched opening; to west. C19 3 light leaded casement with timber lintel; beyond C20 close boarded door. Above, central 2 light leaded casement, flanked by single C19 Yorkshire sashes, all with timber lintels. West gable has, above, chamfered and rebated brick opening containing 3 light leaded casement with brick mullions; above again, C20 casement with moulded brick hood mould.
