Description

Pair of houses, c1800, altered mid C19. Brick with stone dressings and hipped slate roofs. Cogged eaves, front and rear wall stacks. Windows are mainly glazing bar sashes with rubbed brick heads. 3 storeys; 2 window range. Front has 2 large sashes and above, 2 smaller sashes, ground floor has to left a large C20 glazing bar casement, and to its right, a sash. East and west sides each have near-central doors, that on the west side under mid C19 projection carried on iron posts. Outside, dwarf brick boundary wall with brick and stone copings, 2 gateways and 6 obelisk-shaped stone piers. (NCC/js)
