Description

Farmhouse and adjoining garden wall. Mid C18 and early C19, with mid C19 and C20 additions and alterations. Late C20 roughcast with stone dressings and late C20 pantile roof with 2 coped party walls and 2 gable and single ridge brick stacks. 2 storeys; 3-window range, with single bay addition to left. Windows are late C20 top hung glazing bar casements. Main block has 3 casements and below, central gabled porch, coursed rubble with renewed stone lintel and late C19 half-glazed inner door with etched glass panels. On either side, a casement. Set back addition, to left, has a single casement on each floor. Rear wing has in the return angle a 2-light window with stone flush mullions and below, a similar window flanked to left by a board door with stone surround. Windows have late C20 glazing. SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: adjoining garden wall, coursed rubble with chamfered coping and 2 round-topped stone gate piers. (EH)
