Description

Former mill house, now house, and adjoining boundary wall. c1820, with C19 and C20 alterations. Coursed squared stone and ashlar, with rendered rear, ashlar dressings and pantile roofs. 2 coped gable stacks, one stone, one brick. Front openings have projecting stone surrounds. 2 storeys; 3-window range of 12-pane sashes. Central round-arched doorway with keystone and imposts, glazed door and blank fanlight. On either side, a 12-pane sash. To left, a higher 2-storey outbuilding with a single-storey lean-to addition to left. SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: adjoining boundary wall, coursed squared rubble with half-round coping and 2 blocked gates with round-topped ashlar gate piers. Approx 50m long. (EH)
