Description

House, early and late C18, C19. Stucco with pantile roof, 2 brick gable stacks and rendered, brick coped, gable with kneelers. 2.1/2 storeys, 3 bays with 1st and 2nd floor bands. Central sash with marginal glazing bars, with C19 canted bay window, with glazing bar sashes, to the left in a blocked doorway. To the right a flat headed carriage arch. Above are 3 sashes with marginal glazing bars, with 3 similar, smaller fixed lights on the top floor. To the rear is an earlier stuccoed and probable original part timber framed cross wing. 2 storeys, 7 bays. Set on a plinth with ground and 1st floor lintel bands. The doorway has a heavy ashlar architrave with corbels supporting a slightly projecting hood and C20 door. There is a lean-to to the right. (NCC/js)
