Description

House, formerly Laundry. Late C18. Red brick with some dressed coursed rubble to the projecting wing. Hipped pantile roof. Single projecting rendered left gable stack and single rendered ridge stack. Dentil eaves. L-plan, 2 storeys, 2 bays, with projecting 2 storey single bay wing on the right. Having from left to right a single C20 glazing bar casement, a doorway with C20 door, 2 glazing bar Yorkshire sashes/and a single C20 glazing bar casement. Above are 3 glazing bar Yorkshire sashes and a single C20 casement. The projecting wing has in the gable wall a doorway with wooden door and 2 slit ventilators above. The west wall has a single slit ventilator. To the left, set back, is a small brick and pantile lean-to encasing the base of the projecting stack. To the rear is a later single storey brick and pantile extension. (NCC/js)
