Description
Pigeoncote. Late C17. Red brick. Plain tile pyramidal roof topped with a wood and felt glover also with pyramidal roof and single damaged orb finial. Rubble plinth. Rusticated brick quoins. 2 storeys plus attic, single bay. First floor band consists of single band of dogtooth between single bands of raised brick. South wall with central doorway with plank door and glazing bar overlight breaking into the band. Above is a small doorway with plank door. There are 2 tie plates. Projecting from the left is a low, single storey, C19 red brick and pantile outbuilding with doorway with plank door. The east wall has a single tie plate. The west wall has a single glazing bar fixed light and a single tie plate. The north wall has a single glazing bar fixed light in former, blocked doorway and 2 tie plates. Interior has some dismantled wooden nesting boxes and flaps. (NCC/js)
