Description

Pigeoncote. Late C18. Brick with pantile roof. Dentillated eaves, crowstepped gables, rebuilt. 2 storeys, single bay. East front has 2 stable doors with segmental heads, and above, central segmental headed opening containing 4 tiers of pigeonholes. South gable has, above, a segmental headed door and above again, a segmental headed opening containing 3 tiers of pigeonholes and shelf, and wall ties in the form "JB". Interior has battle and daub nest boxes. East side has remains of Britannia Fire Insurance plaque. (NCC/js)
