Description

House. Early C19. Brick with pantile roof. Cogged eaves, tumbled coped gables, 3 gable stacks, 3 storeys, 2 bays, L-plan. Main east front has central C19 latticed gabled timber porch with C19 part-glazed door. Flanked by single Yorkshire sashes, and above, 2 similar sashes, all with segmental heads. Above again, 2 Yorkshire sashes. North side has single Yorkshire sash with segmental head, and above, a similar sash with square head. Adjoining C19 stable, brick with pantile roof, 2 storeys, 2 bays. Rubble plinth, dentillated eaves. Single rear wall stack. East front has setback bay to left with stable door and slatted opening, both with segmental heads; beyond, to right, a single Yorkshire sash. Above, 2 slatted openings. North gable has, to left, doorway, and to right, brick and stone stairway. Above, doorway. Both doors have segmental heads. (NCC/js)
