Description

Barn. Mid C17. Remains of timber frame with C18 red brick nogging. Set on a rubble plinth. Some render to right. Pantile roof with raised, brick coped, gables and kneelers. 2 storeys. Large doorway, with wooden lintel, flanked by single posts. On the far left is a doorway with plank door. There is a further single post, a wall plate and a further single beam. The left side has 3 lozenge ventilators on the ground floor and 4 similar ventilators on the first floor. Interior. Post and truss construction. The north wall has 4 posts. (NCC/js)
