Description

Former meeting house, now house. C17, refronted C18. May contain timber framing. Brick with steep pitched hipped and gabled roof, corrugated sheeting and concrete tiles. First floor band, cogged eaves, 2 ridge stacks, 2 storeys, 2 bays, L-plan. Entered from return angle. South front, to street, has 2 C19 Yorkshire sashes with segmental heads, and above, 2 similar sashes with timber lintels. Irregular west front has to left, 2 Yorkshire sashes with segmental heads and to their right, a single casement and another Yorkshire sash. Above, to left, single casement with segmental head and another with timber lintel. East gable has diaper work in burnt headers. East front has to left C20 gabled timber porch containing half glazed door flanked to left by single casement and to right by single Yorkshire sash. Above, 2 small casements. To right, a plank door flanked by single small casements, and above, a hatch with plank door. (NCC/js)
