Description
Outbuildings including former smithy. Late C17 and C19. Red brick and pantiles. C17 one and a half storey 5 bay former smithy with raised eaves band and course of dentil. Set on a plinth with first floor band. Central part blocked doorway with the remains of the original arched rusticated brick surround, now with plank door under a flat arch. To the right is a blocked window opening and further right a part blocked doorway under flat arch with rusticated brick surround, now containing a stable door under segmental arch. To the left is a small glazing bar fixed light and further left a blocked doorway under flat arch with similar rusticated brick surround, now with small fixed light. Above, breaking into the eaves band, is a single blocked window opening. There are 3 tie plates. Attached to the left of this wing is a one and a half storey C19 4 bay range with dentil eaves and blocked and altered openings, attached to the right is a 2 storey, 4 bay C19 stable block with right gable red brick stack and dentil eaves. 4 doorways with wooden doors under segmental arches. Above is a single window opening with a single tripartite glazing bar Yorkshire sash to the right. To the right is a brick and corrugated lean-to with doorway with wooden door.
