Description

Farmhouse. 1794 and mid C19. Brick with flared headers and pantile roof. Dentillated eaves, tumbled coped gables with kneelers, 3 gable and single side wall stacks. 2 storeys plus garrets, L-plan. East front has plank door in return angle, flanked to left by a Yorkshire sash and to right by a casement, all with segmental heads. Above, to left, a Yorkshire sash. Above again, in east gable, a Yorkshire sash. To south, outhouse, C19, brick with pantile roof, single storey, 2 bays with central casement flanked by single plank doors. North side has 2 C19 plain sashes with segmental heads. Above, diaper work in the form 'W X C'. West gable has a single casement with segmental head on each floor, and above again, a Yorkshire sash. Above again, wall ties in the form 'W C' and '1794'. West side has a single casement and above, a small Yorkshire sash and a blocked opening. (NCC/js)
