Description

House, now a hotel. Early C19, with late C19 and C20 alterations. Brick with yellow brick dressings to ground floor, and slate roof. Chamfered plinth, single gable stack. 3 storeys; 3 window range of plain sashes, with wrought iron sign bracket to left. L-plan. Above, 2 smaller plain sashes. Below, full width fascia cornice with curved brackets. To left, carriage entry with close boarded doors. To right, a 2-leaf panelled door with overlight, flanked by single pane windows. C19 rear wing, 2 storeys, 10 windows, has mainly plain sashes and cross casements. Included for group value. (EH)
