Description

Early C19. 1 build of 3 storeys in brick with pantile roof with brick eaves cornice, the public house being rendered. No 12 has 2 brick stacks. 2 segmental-headed windows on each floor, hung sashes with glazing bars. Doorway with plain pilasters and entablature, 3-light rectangular fanlight, door of 6 panels up 3 stone steps. The Black Boy Public House has 3 segmental-headed windows, glazing bars to top floor only. Ground floor has 2 modern windows and door. Elliptical carriage entry to right. Nos 12 and Black Boy Public House form a group with Nos 13 to 21 (even) of which Nos 18 to 22 (even) are buildings of local interest. (NCC/js)
