Description

Towpath footbridge, c.1792. Ashlar. Chamfered square opening. Chamfered sill band. Battered parapet wall. S-Plan. Southside has late C20 steel floodgate. This bridge was probably built at the same time as the Beeston Cut by the Trent Navigation Co. (NCC/js)
