Description

Former school, now house. 1691 and C18 and C19. Brick with steep pitched pantile roof. Ashlar dressings, first floor band, cogged and dentillated eaves, tumbled coped gables. 2 storeys, 3 bays, double range plan. 4 gable stacks. East front has central recessed panelled doorcase with overlight, corniced keystone and rubbed brick head. Flanked by single plain sashes with rubbed brick heads. Above, central detached segmental pediment and above again, 3 plain sashes with shallow rubbed brick heads. To right, projecting single bay addition, C18, raised C20, brick with flat roof, 2 storeys. Rear elevation has 2 segmental headed glazing bar sashes with rubbed brick heads, and above, 2 glazing bar fixed lights. (NCC/js)
