Description

House and frameshop, now a house, c.1800 and 1830. Brick with gabled slate and plain tile roofs. 2 gable and single ridge stacks. 2 storeys, 3 bays. T-plan. Windows are mainly glazing bar sashes. Those to ground floor front have multi-keystoned heads. Street front has central panelled door with overlight, flanked by single sashes. Above, 3 sashes, the central one smallest. South gable has to left a small Yorkshire sash. 2 storey frameshop, 3 bays, has to south, central door with overlight and late C20 porch. Flanked by single casements. Above, 2 large casements. To right, similar smaller casement and datestone inscribed 'TW 1830'. West gable has small late C19 addition. Above, datestone inscribed '1824'. North side has 2 C20 casements. Above, 2 large casements and blocked casement. In return angle, 2 storey lean-to addition, single bay, with a small casement on each floor. (NCC/js)
