Description
Farmhouse. C18 and C19. 4 builds. Brick with pantile and plain tile roofs and plain tile verges. Dentillated eaves, 3 coped gables with kneelers, 3 ridge and 2 gable stacks. 6 bays wide by 6 bays deep, 2 storeys, L-plan. East front has to right, panelled doorcase with overlight and hood, flanked to left by 2 and to right by single glazing bar sashes. Beyond, to left, 2 blocked openings, and to left again, 2 casements. Above, to left, 2 casements, and to their right, a blocked opening. Beyond, 3 unequally spaced glazing bar sashes. North end has, to rear, C20 glazed porch and door. South end has, to right, door with segmental head. Rear elevation has to left 2 blocked openings, and to their right, a small light and a door with segmental head. Adjoining farm buildings have, to south, 5 C20 casements and 2 stable doors, one with segmental head. Above, to left, 2 slatted openings and to their right, a plank door. Beyond, to right, a Yorkshire sash flanked by single casements. House inferior has chamfered span beams and joists, winder stair with square newel, principal rafter roof with tenoned purlins, renewed at south end. Single C18 fielded panel and plank doors.
