Description

Former Bede House chapel, now office, c1556, restored C19 and c1980. Lias limestone rubble and ashlar, with ashlar dressings and graduated stone slate roof topped with a tent-roofed wooden bell turret. Plinth, coped gables. Single storey, single cell. East gable and north side have flat headed 3-light windows with chamfered mullions, the east window with a restored hood mould. South side has to left a chamfered and moulded doorcase with plank door. West gable, to street, has a shield in the peak. Interior, refitted c1980, has 2 span beams.
