Description

4 houses, now shops. Late C18, with mid C19 and late C20 alterations. Yellow brick with stone dressings and slate roof with 2 gable and single ridge stacks. Incomplete first floor band, moulded cornice, coped parapet. Unaltered windows have flat arches, some of them painted. 3 storeys plus attics; 10 window range arranged 2:5:3, the 5 window centre slightly projecting. Inserted 3-light casement flanked by single blanks. To left, a small sash and beyond, two 12 pane sashes. To right, a plain sash, then a blank, then 3 plain sashes. Above, central blank flanked by 2 plain sashes. To left, two 12 pane sashes. To right, a blank flanked by single plain sashes. Attic has similar fenestration with 6 pane sashes and blanks. Central stone clad C20 shopfront with round-cornered recesses, flanked to right by a rendered front with 3 round headed windows. To left, a shopfront with recessed door and plastic fascia. (EH)
