Description

3 houses, now house and shop. Dated 1824, with late C19 and C20 alterations. Brick, partly colourwashed, with pantile roof. Dentilled eaves, 2 gable stacks. 3 storeys; 4 window range with 2 small glazing bar casements flanked by single larger Yorkshire sashes. Above, similar fenestration with smaller flat headed windows. Below, central round headed entry with close boarded door with datestone above inscribed " 1824". To left, a renewed fielded 6-panel door flanked to left by a Yorkshire sash and to right by a smaller glazing bar casement. To right, a C20 door flanked to left by a C20 shop window and to right a late C19 shop window with reeded surround and cornice and 2-pane window. Right side, to Guildhall Lane has to right a Yorkshire sash and above, to left, a smaller Yorkshire sash. Below, to right, a blocked door and a Yorkshire sash. To left, a C20 window. Both have segmental heads. (EH)
