Description

3 houses, now cafe, shop and houses. c1800, with late C19 and mid C20 alterations. Brick with stone dressings and concrete tile roof. Dentillated eaves, single coped gable, 2 gable and single ridge stacks. 3 storeys; 5 window range of segment headed glazing bar sashes, the left one replaced by a C20 cross casement and that to its right blank. The centre 3 project. Above, a symmetrical range of smaller similar sashes with 2 blanks, the left window replaced by a C20 casement. Below, 3 late C19 wooden shopfronts under continuous bracketed fascia. Cafe, to left, has splayed doorway flanked by single pane windows. To its right, an entry and beyond, a larger single pane window. Right shopfront has reeded pilasters, paterae and enriched brackets. Splayed central doorway with glazed door and overlight, flanked by single pane windows. (EH)
