Description

C18 origins, late C19 alterations. Double pile house, the back roof pantiles, the front new tiles, dentil eaves cornice. 3 storeys, rendered, right-hand late C19 addition with moulded gable end and parapet. 1 segmental-headed window, band between storeys, modern entry. Main section has segmental-headed late C19 window of 2 lights, casements, to right, left has 2 windows to top floor with moulded cases and glazing bars, similar cases to 1st floor, hung sashes with glazing bars, band at cills. Modern shop front to ground floor. Included as part of a group. Nos 2 to 18 (even) including Nos 4A and 14A form a group with the Parish Church of St Swithun. Nos 12, 14, 14A, 16 and 18 are of local interest. (NCC/js)
