Description

Barn. C16 and C17. Restored and converted to 2 houses, 1980. Coursed rubble, timber framing with brick nogging and steep pitched pantile roof. Rubble plinth. C20 ridge stack. 2 storeys, 6 bays. Windows are all C20 casements, north side to left, 3 bay section with door and 3 casements. Above, 3 casements. To right, 3 bay section with 3 posts, corner post and arch brace. Door and 5 casements. Above, 5 casements. Both gables rebuilt in brick, 1986. South side has to left, deep rubble plinth and 9 posts, one with arch brace. 3 doors and 6 casements. Interior has late C20 block partitions and inserted floor. Repaired double butt purlin roofs with some struts and wind braces. (NCC/js)
