Description

2 houses, now 3 houses. Early C17, altered mid C19 and late C20. Brick, the street front roughcast, with remains of timber framing. Pantile roof. Single ridge and single gable stacks. 2 storeys; single window and 3 window ranges. No 66, to left, has a central C20 casement on each floor. To left, a C19 plank door. Left gable has exposed close studding in the peak, with rendered hogging. No 64, to right, has rendered plinth, quoins and Gothic glazing bar casements, those to the ground floor being larger. First floor has a central 2-light casement, flanked by single 3-light ones. Central Tudor arched door in moulded surround, flanked by single 3-light casements. Former rear wing, No 64A, has a single jowled bay post and several pieces of re-used timber framing. (NCC/js)
