Description

Ornamental garden arch. Late C19, utilising fragments of mid C14 style tracery, possibly removed from Southwell Minster during late C19 restorations. Uprights made from coping stones, carrying a cusped ogee window head forming an arch. (Norman Summers: A Prospect of Southwell: London: 1974-: 42). (NCC/js)
