Description

House. Late C18 and early C19. Brick with stone dressings and pantile roof. Cogged eaves, single gable and 2 ridge stacks. Windows are mainly glazing bar sashes with segmental heads. 2 storeys plus garrets; 2 window range. The right half of the east front is covered by the adjoining No 33. Central reeded doorcase with curved brackets to panelled hood, and panelled door. To its right, a C19 panelled door. To its left, a tripartite sash, and above it a similar sash. Rear has irregular fenestration with a central round headed stair light and below it, a small casement. To left, a tripartite sash on each floor. To right, a small sash and above, a small Yorkshire sash. South gable has a sash to left and above, 2 C20 garret casements. C20 casement and door. North gable, to street, has to left a close boarded door to an entry, with wooden cornice and overlight. To its right, a small casement. Interior has a dogleg stair with intermediate landing, stick balusters and moulded handrail. (NCC/js)
