Description

Pair of cottages, c.1700, remodelled C19. Coursed rubble, ashlar and stucco. Pantile roof, hipped on the left, with 2 gable stacks. That to the right is also attached to the adjacent building. 2 storeys, 3 bays, with 1st floor and 2nd floor lintel bands set on a plinth. Central doorway with C20 door flanked by single 3 light stone mullion casements with stone surrounds. 2 similar casements above. To the rear is a rendered and pantiled, 2 storey plus attic, 3 bay, cottage. Set on a plinth. Central doorway with flush quoined door surround and glazed C20 door. To the left is a 4 light C20 casement, to the right a 3 light C20 casement with 2 similar casements above and a glazing bar Yorkshire sash in the dormer. (NCC/js)
