Description

Theatre, formerly house. Late C18 and C20. Red brick and ashlar. Hipped slate roof with single gable brick stack and dentillated eaves. 1.1/2 storeys, 3 bays. Set on a plinth with a 1st floor band. The central bay, with rusticated ground floor, slightly projects and is topped by an open pediment with dentillated cornice. Central glazing bar sash. To the right, in an originally smaller opening, is a tripartite glazing bar sash, with central arched light, flanked by marginal lights all under a flat head. Projecting from the left is a single storey C20 brick and pantile extension, the gable end has a single sash under a segmental arch. The central 1st floor Diocletian window, with ashlar mullions; in relieving arch is flanked by single glazing bar lights. To the left is a single storey brick and pantile extension with a single sash window and a doorway with wooden door and projecting wooden hood. To the rear is a later lean-to brick extension.
