Description
Coach house, outbuilding and pump. Early C19. Red brick coach house with hipped pantile roof and wooden eaves cornice. 2 storeys, 3 bays. 2 round arched doorways each with arched double plank door and painted hinge blocks. To the left is a single similar arch, part blocked, now with domestic doorway with plank door under segmental arch. Above are 2 glazing bar sashes and to the left a single similar part blocked opening now with painted glazing bars above and single Yorkshire sash below. To the right is a single flight of brick and ashlar steps, part under a pantile roof. Further right and set back is the single storey 2 bay outbuilding with pantile roof. Single glazing bar Yorkshire sash and to the right a doorway with plank door. Adjacent to the outbuilding is a wood, iron and lead water pump. To the left and right are further single storey outbuildings not of special interest. (NCC/js)
