Description

5 cottages, now 4 properties. Late C18, refronted mid C19. No.4 rebuilt 1985. Brick with pantile roofs. Plain eaves, 3 ridge stacks. 2 storeys, 6 bays. C19 ground floor openings have segmental heads. To left, 2 doors, to their right, 3 casements of various sizes. To right again, panelled door and a casement. To right again, larger C20 casement. Beyond, C20 single storey addition, single bay, with C20 door and flanking light. Above, to left, small casement, and to its right, 3. C19 casements. To right again, large C20 casement. Interior of No.40 has 2 chamfered span beams, one with ogee stops. C20 addition to east not of special interest. (NCC/js)
