Description

Cottage. Early C17. Remains of timber framing with early C19 red brick nogging. Blue brick band at base. Pantile roof. 2 red brick gable stacks, the right stack being external. One and a half storeys, originally 3 bays, now only of 2, lacking the left bay. Doorway with C20 door, to the right are 2 C20 casements. Above are 2 small C20 casements. Remaining timbers to front include part of the wall plate. One and a half posts and 2 further beams. Rear has remains of wall plate, some beams and a single post. To the left are extensive C20 extensions. Interior has a studded panel with 2 arched braces. (NCC/js)
