Description

Pigeoncote. Late C17. Brick with pantile roof. Notched coped gables. Tilting board to eaves. 2 storeys, single bay, square plan. To south, central plank door with timber jambs, and above, a glazing bar casement. East gable has, above, 3 tiers of pigeonholes with shelves, and projecting iron rods with hooks. West gable has a single tier of pigeonholes. Interior has original tie beams and floor, and wattle and daub nest boxes on timber frame. Roof renewed and restoration carried out 1983. (NCC/js)
