Description

Farmhouse. Mid C18, with extensive additions 1899. Brick with pantile and slate roofs. First floor and lintel bands, cogged eaves. 2 corner, 2 ridge and single side wall stacks. 2 storeys, 5 unequal bays. L-plan. Windows are mostly glazing bar casements. West front has, to left, 3 casements of various sizes with segmental rubbed brick heads. To right, C19 round headed doorway with keystone and hood mould and rubbed brick head. To right, C19 mullioned double sash. Above, to left, square headed casement flanked by single casements with segmental rubbed brick heads. To right, a single and a double C19 plain sash, that to right mullioned. North side has to left, 2 plank doors, and to right, 2 casements. Above, to left, 2 casements, and to right, a casement with segmental head. South side has to left, a casement with segmental head, and to right, lean-to toilet block, brick with pantile roof. Above, to left, a plain sash, and to right, 2 small casements. (NCC/js)
