Description
Farm manager's house. 1902. Designed by the Nottingham City Engineer, Arthur Brown, for the Bulcote Corporation Model Farm. Red brick, with a blue brick plinth and yellow brick bands. Slate roof with a single gable stack.
Main front has 3 bays, with central doorway with overlight flanked by single C20 casements. Above a narrow C20 casement flanked by single sashes by marginlights.
This farmhouse forms an important part of this industrial farmyard, which was constructed specifically by Nottingham City Corporation in order to assist with the disposal of the solid waste produced by their new sewage works at Stoke Bardolph.
