Description

House. Early C19. Brick, roughcast and colourwashed, with stone dressings and hipped slate roof. Plinth, wooden eaves, 2 ridge stacks. Windows are glazing bar sashes. 2 storeys; 3 window range, square plan. Central moulded round headed doorcase with keystone, and recessed 6-panel door with Gothic fanlight. On either side, a single window. Rear and left side have each 2 windows on each floor. Right side has a lower 2 storey service wing. Rear has a hipped 2 storey wing to left. Interior has open well stair with scrolled fruitwood handrail and wood and iron stick balusters. First floor landing has reeded Classical doorcases with cornices. (NCC/js)
