Description

House, now offices. Early C18, altered late C20. Colourwashed brick with stone dressings. Roof and stacks not visible. Rendered plinth, first and second floor bands with blocks above the windows, coped parapet with 4 blank panels. 3 storeys; 4 window range of plain sashes and above, 4 glazing bar sashes, the central ones blank. All have panelled lintels with keystones. Below, full width shopfront in late C19 style, with panelled pilasters, hooded brackets and cornice. Central pia flanked to left by a 3-light window and to right by a recessed glazed door and a single pane window. Door and windows have overlights. Interior has an early C18 open well stair with vase and stem balusters and moulded scrolled handrail. Butt purlin principal rafter roof with collars. (EH)
