Description

House. Early C19, with mid C20 addition. Brick with stone dressings and hipped slate roof. Single ridge and 2 side wall stacks. 2 storeys; 3 window range of glazing bar sashes, all with keystoned lintels. Ground floor windows are larger. Central Classical porch with fluted columns and entablature, covering a fielded 6-panel door with fanlight with Gothic tracery. North side, to street, has 3 windows on each floor. Interior has stair well with plain cornice and moulded doorcases with Gothic fanlights, containing a cantilevered stair with landings, stick balusters and ramped scrolled handrail. (NCC/js)
