Description

Former public house and shop, now 2 houses. c1800. Brick with stone dressings and pantile roof with single ridge stack. Front openings have multi keystoned lintels. 2 storeys plus garrets; 3 window range with a glazing bar sash to the right and 2 C20 imitation sashes to left. Below, 2 imitation sashes flanked to left by a C20 door with overlight. To right, a late C19 wooden shopfront with plain surround and cornice, with 3-light cross mullioned window and to right, a half-glazed door with overlight and pointed headed scraper. Left gable has a small glazing bar sash to garret and below, to right, a C20 imitation sash. Both these windows have segmental heads. (EH)
