Timber framed, with arch braces and rendered nogging, colourwashed brick underbuild and steep pitched Roman tile roof. First floor jetty on brackets on 2 sides. External rendered gable stack. 2 storeys; 4x3 bays. Kirkgate front has 4 C20 leaded casements of 2 and 3 ights. Below, to left, a C19 panelled door and overlight, flanked by single pane windows. To its left a C20 entry door with slatted ventilator above. To right again, a margin light sash and a larger single pane window. Gable end, to Middlegate, has a C20 3-light leaded casement.
