Description
A watching brief was carried out during work to renew the water mains in five locations in the Kinoulton area involving approximately 3.25km of pipe. These were situated in the centre of Cropwell Butler (Grid Ref given), the centre of Cropwell Bishop (SK 685 355) and Tithby (SK 698 369); at the junction of Radcliffe Road with the A46 Fosse Way (SK 675 375); and south from the junction of Tithby Road with Bingham Road (SK 705 370). No archaeological features or artefacts were recorded or recovered. (1)
