Description

A programme of geophysical survey and trial trenching was undertaken during January 1992 to evaluate the archaeological significance of a mound which previous field walking had shown to have archaeological potential. A resistivity survey showed several anomalies, two of which were excavated but no archaeological features were found. (1) See E895 for trial trenching.
