Description

Discovered in 1983 during the digging of foundations for a bungalow being built by Messrs. Roger and Robert Sentence at Windmill Hill, Cotgrave. Salvage excavation was carried out then by an MSC team from Nottingham Inter Community Enterprises and local volunteer directed by the author. (1) See E645 for 1984 excavation.
