Description

A large area of machined excavations took place ahead of new plant installation, including a hole 60 m x 15 m and 10 m deep. The section of this hole revealed an upper 4 m of made up ground, followed by 2 m of red-brown alluvial clay (which covered the whole site). The lowest part of the section revealed yellow-brown sandstone bedrock. No archaeological materials or artefacts, or organic deposits with the potential for palaeoenvironmental information, were recorded. (1)
