Description

November 1787. The Rev Mr Bristow, one of the worthy vicars of Southwell, first made this discovery in digging to make a foundation for a building in his garden. The stones lay 5ft below the surface. (1) See also E3569 and E3571 for more finds in this area. NB this may be the same as E3569.
