Description

Site was revealed after an explosion to remove clay from the hill-side in H.J. Baldwin & Co's clay quarry. Most of the filling had been removed by the time the find had been reported and a salvage excavation proceeded the next day (2). E Mids. Arch 9 gives an apparently incorrect grid reference for the site
