Description

In June 1972, a local Cotgrave farmer discovered large stone on the land where he was removing top soil……Nottingham Historical Arts Society began to excavate. Through pressure of work this site was then delegated to Rushcliffe Archaeology Group, Mr A MacCormick keeping his eye on progress. (1)
