Description

In an area of about 1 km sq on the gravel terrace are four farmsteads … three sites have already been excavated and are now destroyed by quarrying. (1) See (3) for further details that could refer to this site. NB this site was excavated at some time between 1971 and 1974, quarried out on 1974 APs. See E661 and E8190 for nearby excavations.
